Lindsay Stone - Web Development Manager |
|
Being a long-time performer, Lindsay decided it was best to learn web development in order to help promote her events. She first started building websites in 1998, focusing primarily on event promotions for various artists in Birmingham, Alabama. This was back in the days of banner ad hosting sites, such as Anglefire and GeoCities. Since she opened her first Anglefire account Lindsay has been glued to the web. While most people get excited over a car, a band or some new show or fashion trend, Lindsay finds joy in dissecting and reinventing web programs. It is not uncommon for her to run happily around the office after conquering a new php scripting issue or some cleaver work-a-round for a website.
Years of self-promotion also taught Lindsay the importance of a strong and varied web presence. This realization has led her to study Search Engine Optimization tactics as well as online marketing trends. Spending on average of 14 hours a day online, one could say that Lindsay Stone's life revolves around the Internet. |
